Mazda has revamped their only light commercial offering in the UK with a freshening up of the Mazda BT50 pick-up. If you are looking for an alternative to a SUV you might want to consider this option as it does offer car like handling.

A new 3.0 litre diesel model has been launched, called the Intrepid, with a five speed automatic gearbox. It offers more power (156ps) and more torque than the current 2.5 litre engines. It also has leather interior, air conditioning, 6 CD auto-changer, stainless steel rear bumper, branded scuff plates, a hardy load bed liner and privacy glass for the side windows,

Options and equipment on the new Mazda BT50 range include

  • MP3 -compatible audio system.
  • Air conditioning on all 4x4 models.
  • Anti-lock braking (ABS) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) fitted to all models.
  • Side airbags are standard on Double Cab models.
