Choose your next car or van by CO2
Car and Van Carbon Dioxide emissions (CO2) are important when choosing a vehicle.
· Cars and vans contribute to climate change because their engines burn fuel producing carbon dioxide (CO2) every time you drive.
· Smaller cars and vans also tend to be more fuel efficient and emit less CO2 however it is not quite as easy as that.
· Most car and van models offer a range of engines that vary in fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions.
· From April 2009 the new Vehicle Excise Duty rates will be expanded to 13 different bands.
· This will further affect what road tax you pay for your car or van.
· For a Company entity or a Company car driver it will also affect your tax liability.
