DVLA’s HOT 71P for gamblers
Gamblers, racing experts and even investors looking for a HOT 71P need look no further than the DVLA Personalised Registrations‘ next auction commencing on the 3rd June. This is only one of 1,600 plates that are up for sale during the three day event at Wychwood Park in Crewe, Cheshire.
There are plenty of other comical registrations on show but 3 O will probably be the star of the show as 1 O and 2 O were recently sold for £210,242 and £142,249 respectively.
Damian Lawson, DVLA Personalised Registrations’ Marketing Manager said ” We have been completely bowled over by some of the incredible sums paid for our registrations this year, especially in this current economic climate. While we are hopeful our high-value registrations like 3 O and 7 T will generate large sums, HOT 71P is typical of the scores of fun plates being auctioned with relatively low reserves”.
Some of the other plates include AVL 111S (reserve £400), RUN 80Y (£400) and ELV 115S (£400). It is however illegal to misrepresent a vehicle registration number on a number plate on your car or van and there are strict guidelines that you must follow. Further details are available off the DVLA site.
