BEN HAS A FUNDRAISING WEEK FROM 13TH TO 19TH JULY
BEN, the automotive industry charity, is holding a week of fundraising and celebrations between the 13th and 19th July. The challenge this year is to raise £104 to mark its 104th birthday and the theme this year is “Hit the Beach for BEN”. So if you want to come to work in your Bermuda shorts or sombrero or get involved in any other way, you know that all monies raised will be going to a good cause.
Charles Davis, BEN’s Director of Fundraising said “BEN Week is a great chance to let your hair down and have fun while raising money to allow BEN to help our colleagues in the industry who desperately need our help. So hit the beach in style- we can’t wait to hear about the fantastic things you got up to over BEN Week 2009!”
Founded in 1905, the Charity provides practical help, support, advice and friendship to more than 15,000 men and women and their families every year. BEN also provides a home to over 350 individuals who reside in one of its four residential homes across the UK plus it provides day care facilites at its centre in Coventry.
