Mitsubishi lines up 16 cars at Tokyo Motor Show
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation will be showing 16 cars at the Tokyo Motor Show in October. Two new concept cars that have been developed to ”The EV*; Its dawn and future” theme, are the Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV and the i-MiEV CARGO.
The Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV will be powered by the Mitsubishi Plug-in Hybrid System which extends the time the hybrid car will be driven in driven in EV (electric vehicle) mode. This new concept car will balance high environmental performance with running performance, by using differential motors and Mitsubishi’s all-new S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control), which also utilises E-AYC (electric-powered Active Yaw Control), transferring torque to the right and left wheels.
The i-MiEV CARGO is a new car that will offer a generous amount of rear free space and can be adapted depending on the requirements of the user. This will enable a driver to use the car when maximum payload is needed or just for leisure and is ideal for corporate users or self-employed operators.
