UK Police tries out Mitsubishi iMiEV reducing crime and CO2

The Mitsubishi iMiEV joins other manufacturers in offering another option to Police forces across the UK. The car was recently showcased at the National Police Show in September where it was an instant show stopper.
The car has a range of 100 miles and a top speed of 81mph and is ideal for urban policing and working in the community. It also has the ability to carry four adult passengers and equipment in comfort.

The first full production i-MiEVs will be on UK shores in November and the West Midlands Police will be the first force to run the vehicle in full operational use.
