Toyota announces accelerator pedal recall in Europe
Toyota has announced a pedal accelerator recall for Europe as there is a possibility that pedal mechanisms may, in rare instances, mechanically stick in a partially depressed position or just return slowly to the idle position.
You may notice the pedal becoming harder to depress or slower to return and this is caused by the pedal mechanisms becoming worn. The exact number of models and potentially affected vehicles is currently under investigation and further information will be posted on the Toyota website.
