Jaguar to unveil fastest ever XK ever at Geneva Motor Show
Jaguar is set to unveil a supercharged XKR at the Geneva Motor Show in March, that delivers a raised maximum speed (where permitted) up to 174mph (from 155mph) from its powerful 510PS engine. The new XKR Coupe also showcases two optional performance and styling packs, called Speed Pack and Black Pack.
Speed pack
Speed Pack provides greater stability with a revised front aerodynamic splitter and large rear spoiler, plus Active Differential Control to reduce steering sensitivity at very high speeds. Add to this body-coloured side sill and rear diffuser, and a chrome finish to the window surrounds, upper and lower mesh grilles and side Power Vents and boot-lid finisher. The supercar also gets Jaguar “R” logo red brake calipers with 20-inch Kasuga alloy wheels. Colours available are Ultimate Black, Polaris White, Salsa Red, Liquid Silver, Kyanite Blue and Spectrum Blue.
Speed Pack and Black Pack
The Black Pack is available only with the Speed Pack and will exclusively be available in Ultimate Black, Polaris White and Salsa Red, with 20-inch gloss-black Kalimnos alloy wheels. Further black finishing is applied to the car while white body coloured front and rear spoilers and boot lid finisher complete the unique look. Inside there are three interior finishes and veneers in Dark Oak, Dark Mesh Aluminium and Piano Black, which compliment the Charcoal leather hides with personalised colour stitching..
