Land Rover has recently produced the 200,000th version of their successful 4×4, the Freelander 2, which rolled off the production line at Halewood in Liverpool. The 200,000th vehicle, a Freelander 2 TD4_e in Biscay Blue, is destined for a lucky customer in the UK. The Operations Director at Halewood, Michael Straughan said,”This achievement is thanks to the Halewood workforce, who have continuously driven improvements since the launch of the Freelander 2 to maximise customer satisfaction. I’d like to congratulate the Halewood workforce on this team achievement”. Land Rover car leasing prices are on the site now.
