Volkswagen launches new entry-level model called the Golf Twist
Available in three or five-door, Volkswagen has launched a new entry-level model Golf, called the Twist, offering even better value and extra equipment as standard. The car runs on a 1.4-litre petrol engine (80PS), has a six-speed manual transmission and accelerates from 0-62mph in 13.9 seconds. Combined mpg is 44.1 and CO2 emissions are 149g/km.
The Golf Twist is based on the “S” model and comes with more than £700 of extra standard vehicle equipment, including 16-inch “Atlanta” alloy wheels, RCD 310 radio system with MDI multimedia connectivity and a front centre armrest added to the already comprehensive standard equipment list. Safety is high on the agenda with many safety features like ABS, ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Programme) and seven airbags. Volkswagen business car leasing prices for this new model should be on the site shortly.
