MINI Rocketman Concept
The MINI Rocketman Concept study car is set to be unveiled by MINI at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show later this week. This unique vehicle is a 3+1-seater with three doors and takes MINI back to its original concept, with an exterior length of just 3.3 metres (10ft. 11in.)
There is still ample and comfortable space for the driver, front passenger and another passenger and you can also add a fourth individual seat if necessary, adapting the luggage compartment capacity as you wish. An innovative door and tailgate ensures easy entry and loading, while sills integrated into the doors also allow you to reach well into the interior. The transparent glass roof has been segmented by illuminated braces, to recreate the look of Britain’s Union Jack flag, and the rear lights have a trapezoidal stirrup design to complete the look.
MINI is also showcasing a new 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine which has been developed for the MINI Cooper SD, MINI Cooper SD Clubman, MINI Cooper SD Convertible and MINI Cooper SD Countryman. This new engine promises a 0-62mph sprint time of 8.1 seconds, CO2 emissions of 114g/km and fuel consumption up to 65.7mpg.

New MINI SD Cooper
The new MINI Cooper SD range gets a selection of eye-catching features, including large air intake, air scoop on the bonnet, twin tailpipes in the centre of the rear apron and a roof spoiler. Many of these styling designs are currently on the petrol variant, the MINI Cooper S.
In addition, MINI will be showing off other new and existing models, including the MINI Yours range, limited edition MINI Clubman Hampton, John Cooper Works and additions to the six-speed automatic gearbox range. We will be loading MINI contract hire leasing prices on the new ranges once full pricing and vehicle specifications are released.
