Ford is entering anyone who drives a Ford Van on a test drive in September, the chance to win tickets to a Champions League match. The winners will be hosted at the UK games by Ford, the leading commercial vehicle producer, and Sky TV.

Two winners will each receive a pair of tickets including chauffeured transfer to and from the game and before the match the winners will meet Sky’s football pundits.

Auris HSD Hybrid

Toyota is unveiling their new Auris HSD Full Hybrid Concept car at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and this new model will take centre stage at the Toyota stand.

This is a milestone for Toyota as they have introduced full hybrid technology into a mainstream model and is the first step in rolling out their Hybrid Synergy Drive across the company’s whole range of vehicles.

Other models on the Toyota stand at Frankfurt include the Prius Plug-in Hybrid Concept, enabling pure electric car operation for short range day-to day transportation.

Toyota plans to trial 150 of these models in 2010 which will be leased to selective fleet customers. 

In addition to the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota will also be showing two customised iQ cars, namely iQ for Sports and iQ for Collection.

Volvo C30 DRIVe R-DESIGN

Volvo has just strengthened its DRIVe car range by combining the DRIVe technologies with the sports credentials of the R-DESIGN bodykit. This will extend to the C30, S40 and V50 R-DESIGN models. The new 1.6D car models all boast a CO2 figure of 119g/km and a combined mpg of 62.8mpg across all three models.

The R-DESIGN models feature a special DRIVe wind deflector and a R-DESIGN badge at the front, plus DRIVe badges on the rear to announce the green credentials. The bodykit includes front and rear spoilers, lower door trim and side skirts, 17-inch five spoke alloy wheels, as well as roof and lip spoilers. Inside the interior has upholstery in cream leather and off black Flex-Tec, R-DESIGN centre stack and blue instrument dials.
