The Fiat Group is running an MOT campaign to encourage Fiat and Alfa Romeo drivers to have their vehicle MOT tested at an authorised Fiat or Alfa Romeo workshop. If your car is over three years old and needs an MOT, if you put it through its annual safety check at an authorised dealer you will be entered into a prize draw.

The keys to a Punto Evo or Alfa MiTo is the top prize with the draw being held on the 18th July 2011. The campaign by the Fiat Group has been launched to remind everyone of the importance of regular servicing by approved and authorised dealerships and to try and increase the number of MOTs being carried out at Fiat Group Centres.

Fiat Punto Evo features in new "Prommercial" music video

The Fiat Punto Evo, Fiat’s popular family hatchback, is now featuring in a new music video released to promote the latest single from dance act, Faithless. Fiat and Faithless have produced the three-minute video for Feelin Good which is also set to feature as a TV commercial.

This unique combination of a promotional video and TV commercial is a first for the music video and car advertising worlds and was first shown on Sunday the 15th August. To celebrate this ground-breaking new video, Fiat is also launching a special edition Feelin Good Punto Evo featuring 15-inch alloy wheels, metallic paint, sports bumpers, Blue&Me infotainment system, Start&Stop, rear spoiler, dark tinted headlights and adaptive cornering foglights.

Fiat fleet deal with Aston Villa

Fiat has announced its new fleet deal with the Premier League club, Aston Villa Football Club, after already sponsoring the England football team and Wembley Stadium earlier this year. The four year agreement will include both Fiat cars and Fiat Professional commercial vehicles.

The award winning Fiat 500 city car, Fiat Punto Evo, new Fiat Doblo and the rugged Fiat Ducato are just some of the vehicles being taken by Aston Villa.

Alfa Romeo MiTo

Fiat has won the Engine of the Year award in the “Best New Engine of the Year category”, bestowed by an international judging panel of 65 specialist journalists from 32 countries. Developed and manufactured by FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies) the new 1.4 MultiAir Turbo engines, with power outputs from 135bhp to 170bhp, now equip the Alfa Romeo MiTo, Giulietta, Fiat Punto Evo, Abarth Punto Evo and will soon be seen in the Fiat Bravo too.

Punto Evo

Fiat has launched a new Punto Evo with a new bold look inside and out. It also incorporates many safety features including knee airbags, double seat pre-tensioners and ESP with hill holder.

Every model in the range is fitted with Blue&Me allowing control of all the car’s major functions plus all models (excluding Active) can be specified with the Blue&Me TomTom system. The Punto Evo offers a range of five Euro 5 engines with Start&Stop as standard and there are also five trim levels to choose from.

The entry level Active model features front driver, passenger and driver’s knee airbag, five standard-setas, two rear head restraints, front electric windows, adjustable steering wheel, electric mirrors and Blue&Me infotainment. There are 22 versions of this new Punto Evo range to choose from and full vehicle specifications should be available shortly.

Punto Evo

The Fiat Group has announced the on the road pricing for the forthcoming Fiat Punto Evo which goes on sale in January 2010. The new Punto Evo will be available with a choice of five low CO2 emissions Euro 5 engines, all with Start&Stop as standard. Two of the new power units will also feature Fiat’s new MultiAir technology.

Five trim levels are available namely, Active, Dynamic, GP, Eleganza and Sporting and standard equipment in the entry level Active includes ABS anti-lock brakes with EBD, driver, passenger and knee airbags, radio/CD/MP3 player, power steering, electric mirror and Blue&Me infotainment.
