Minibus hand-over

Jaguar Land Rover has kindly donated a minibus for use at BEN’s Alexandra House care centre in Southport, plus a cheque for £800 from staff fundraising. Founded in 1905, BEN is the Automotive Industry Charity for those people who have worked in the automotive or related industries and offers practical help, support and advice to more than 15,000 people a year.

The minibus was handed over to David Main, BEN’s Chief Executive, who commented,”This generous donation will make a real difference to daily life at Alexandra House, allowing residents to get out and about in style. We are immensely grateful to Jaguar Land Rover for all the magnificent support they have shown to BEN over the years”.

Jaguar Land Rover has announced their official sponsorship of Coventry Rugby Football Club for the 2011/2011 season. This agreement will see Jaguar Land Rover further extend strong community ties with the city, where it employs 2000 people and has a dedicated Education Partnership Centre, which annually supports over 7,000 children.
