Kia cee’d is the new Top Gear “Reasonably Priced Car”
Tuesday, June 29th, 2010The BBC Top Gear team have chosen the Kia cee’d 2 1.6 manual five-door hatchback as their new “Reasonably Priced Car”. The Stig, the white-helmeted mystery man, put the car through its paces at the Surrey test track and found the car “up to the mark” for the various stars to test in the new series.
Stephen Kitson, Communications Director at Kia Motors (UK) Ltd said,”The last time Top Gear paid us any attention I think they tried to build one of our cars out of washing machines – so this is a quite a step forward in their understanding of just how Kia has changed over the last six years”.
The cee’d 2 1.6-litre manual comes with a Kia 7-year warranty and returns 46.3mpg on the combined cycle and emits just 146g/km of CO2 emissions. Kia contract hire prices are on the site now.
