Vauxhall has now introduced an “eco model” across its entire range of commercial vans with the launch of ecoFLEX Commercial Vehicles.

Steve Bryant, Brand Manager, Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles, said,”Vauxhall is the the first manufacturer to offer an “eco” product for each model in its range. Green credentials are becoming a higher priority for customers looking to reduce the carbon footprint of their vehicles. Our vans have always been known for their low running costs and the ecoFLEX badge clearly identifies to our customers the lowest CO2 model in our range”.

Vauxhall Vivaro ecoFLEX

• Vivaro ecoFLEX 2.0 CDTi (90PS) and 2.0 CDTi (115PS), both with CO2 emissions of 185g/km and payloads of 1254kg.
• Corsavan ecoFLEX 1.3 CDTi (75PS) Start/Stop which emits 105g/km of CO2.
• Movano ecoFLEX 3.3 tonne L2H2 2.3 CDTI (100PS) with CO2 emissions of 202g/km.
• Astravan and Combo will also see ecoFLEX models added.

Vauxhall Movano Core Conversions

Vauxhall has added “Core Conversions” to the newly launched Movano panel van range which was launched earlier this year, enabling the new Movano to be ordered in a variety of length and chassis configurations. The new Movano can now be specified in Chassis, Crew and Platform Cabs, with front and rear-wheel drive available and in a wide range of dropside, tipper and box-body variants.

Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles offer a three year manufacturer’s warranty that covers the vehicle’s chassis as well and the new generation of the Movano is powered by 2.3 CDTI four-cylinder diesel engine in either 100PS, 125PS or 146PS offering powerful low speed torque. The new model also emits low CO2 emissions and standard equipment includes a steel load floor with integrated load securing points, cabin protection with ladder holders plus aluminium side and tail board with under-run bars.

Vauxhall Vivaro is SPP Pumps livery

SPP Pumps, a leading manufacturer of centrifrugal pumps and associated systems, has chosen to convert its entire 17-strong commercial fleet to the Vauxhall marque and chose the Vauxhall Vivaro as its main model after positive feedback from their field service engineers.

John Warren, Operations Manager at SPP Pumps explains, “The primary job of our engineers is to fix pumps. Driving is incidental to that and it’s important that as they move between jobs they can do so in comfort and safety so that when they arrive at the customer they are less stressed and tired and able to work effectively. We chose the Vivaro because of its high level of specification to which we added the electric pack, which provides features such as electric windows, mirrors and remote locking. In addition we added air conditioning and up-specification driver seat option that all make the vans more comfortable and easier to drive and use”.

This high specification ensured the residual value on the vehicles were excellent and subsequently the Vauxhall commercial vehicle lease price was attractive. In addition to the Vivaro, SPP Pumps runs three Combos and a Movano dropside truck as well.

Vauxhall has announced they are extending their support for the Help for Heroes charity by providing two Insignia Sport Tourer event support vehicles and a Movano 3500 commercial vehicle for day-today hauling duties. Help For Heroes raises money for members of the Armed Forces who have wounded in the service of their country.

The two new Insignia Sport Tourers have been supplied in high specification SRi Nav trim with the 160PS turbodiesel engine and will carry Help For Heroes personnel to British and European events in comfort and safety. Help For Heroes co-founder, Bryn Parry said,”Help For Heroes’ fundraising events take place across the UK and Europe and a range of vehicles are needed to successfully support them.
