Fiat Doblo Cargo

Fiat Professional has confirmed the line-up of vans they will be showcasing at the Commercial Vehicle  Show that is being held at the NEC in Birmingham, from the 12th April to the 14th April 2011. The Fiat Doblo Cargo is taking centre stage and also on the stand, making their first UK debut, will be the Euro 5 Fiorino range and the Punto Evo Van.

Gerry Clarke, Director of Fiat Professional, said,”The Fiat Professional range of award-winning vehicles has been enjoying a high level interest from customers and the media, and this year is set to continue with the introduction of new environmentally friendly Euro 5 engines in the Fiorino, Scudo and Punto Evo Van”.

TR7 Coke Star

In the 1970s, Triumph and Coca Cola came together to present the “TR7 Coke Car” of which only three were ever made. One of these has been saved from the scrapheap and will be on display at the MPH – The Prestige and Performance Motor Show featuring Top Gear Live.

The “TR7 Coke Star” features Coca Cola red paint with a flowing white line down the side and across the bonnet. Inside you get blue denim upholstery with patch pockets on the door panels and sun visors. The car also has a 12-volt fridge in the boot, a TV in the glove compartment, sheepskin overmats and a full length weathershield sunroof.

Marketing Communications Manager for MPH featuring Top Gear Live said,”The MPH Show is not just about the latest in supercars, but also unearthing fantastic quirky cars from yesteryear and the TR7 fits the bill perfectly”. The MPH show takes place at Earls Court from November 4th-7th and the NEC in Birmingham between November 11th-14th.

Footman Classic Motor Show

The Footman James Classic Motor Show 2010 will be held from Friday the 13th November 2010 until Sunday the 14th November at the NEC in Birmingham.

If you share a passion for classic cars there will over 1,200 cars on display from all over the world, 300 of Britain’s best motoring clubs displaying unusual and breathtaking marques, plus 300 trade stand selling a wide range of car parts, spares etc.

Axscend is set to launch their new trailerMASTER at the forthcoming Commercial Vehicle Operator Show 2010 , which will be held between the 13-15 April at the NEC in Birmingham.

The trailerMASTER service consists of three parts – a data collection unit fitted to every trailer, a website driven by customer needs and a team of trailer management experts on hand.

The system pinpoints the exact location of a trailer and gives its current load status and will be of interest to any commercial vehicle business looking to save time, reduce costs and improve efficiencies.

Fiat vans

Fiat Professional is set to show two new vans, the Doblo Cargo and the Fiorino at the forthcoming Food and Drink Logistics Show 2010, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on the 21st to the 24th March.

The Doblo engine line-up of a 1.4-litre 16v 95bhp petrol unit and three MultiJet 16v diesels -1.3 (90bhp), 1.6(105bhp) and 2.0 (135bhp) should appeal to most smaller and food and drink logistics transport companies. Standard equipment across the range includes ABS, height adjustable steering wheel, power steering, electric front windows and central door locking.

The Fiorino line-up consists of a 1.4 73bhp petrol and 1.3 MultiJet turbodiesel and offers safe and economical motoring. Fiat contract hire prices for these vans are available now.

The organisers of the 2010 Commercial Vehicle Operator Show 2010 are very optimistic about their exhibitor figures with over 250 firm bookings for the event, with 51 also exhibiting for the first time. The event will be held between the 13th to the 15th April 2010 at the NEC in Birmingham.

Caterham Seven

The Caterham Drive Experience was held last weekend at the Autosport International Show at Birmingham’s NEC and was a great success. More than 2,000 members of the public felt the experience of the bespoke, indoor drift course, with a Caterham professional driver at the helm.

Throughout the four day show,which attracted 90,000 visitors, exhibitors showed off their automotive products but it was the Caterham event that proved particularly popular, with people queuing throughout the weekend to get a chance to drive this iconic British sports car.
