Nissan Qashqai

The Nissan Qashqai has been awarded top marks for its class by more than 23,000 drivers in the Driver Power survey 2011, which is run by Auto Express. The British-built crossover also finished fifth in the overall Top 100 models. The Nissan Note also received praise (moving from 59th to 32nd position) and Nissan was also voted the most improved brand of the year

The Qashqai has been a huge success for Nissan and the UK manufacturing industry, with more than 900,000 produced at our Sunderland plant. It’s great to see that drivers rate it just as highly as we do”.

Nissan JUKE

Nissan has finally started production of their eagerly awaited Nissan JUKE, which combines the best attributes of a sports car with an SUV, yet still offers you the practicality of a hatchback. Buildiing upon the success of the Qashqai, Nissan is hoping to produce around 100,000 units per year. The Nissan Note and Qashqai +2 are the other models being built at the high-tech plant in Sunderland.

Nissan Juke

Nissan is planning to officially launch their new small Crossover vehicle , the Juke, to the global market at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year. The car, which will be built at the Sunderland plant, will go on sale in October and will inject some dynamism into the small-car segment of the market.

The new Juke was inspired by the Qazana concept car that was shown at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show and will fit into the Nissan range between the Nissan Note compact family car and the Qashqai crossover.
