First pictures of new SEAT Alhambra are unveiled
Tuesday, April 20th, 2010SEAT has released the first official images of its new SEAT Alhambra MPV, which is updated with the latest technology and has up to seven seats plus sliding doors. The new Alhambra has plenty of space for all the family and offers innovative versatility as well, with a five, six or seven seat configuration.
The Alhambra has a new engine line-up too, with TSI and TDI power units equipped with direct injection and turbo-charging. The TSI unit delivers 150PS while the two TDI engines offer 140PS and 170PS. Other efficiency measures fitted as standard include a Start-Stop system and brake energy recovery technology. The 140PS diesel offers 51mpg and a CO2 emissions figure of 143g/km and is bound to be a popular model.
Other standard equipment includes seven airbags, including a driver’s side knee airbag, electric child locks on the rear doors, ABS and ESP including electronic braking assistant, trailer stabilisation and tyre pressure monitoring display. More technical and equipment details of the range will be available closer to the launch date later this year.
