Citroen will be introducing their new DS4 at the Paris Motor Show and this is the second model in the DS line-up after the DS3. The DS4 has a dynamic coupe-like body that is practical yet has 2+2 door practicality within a compact design. The car offers you three full sized rear seats and a 370-litre boot plus a host of clever storage solutions.

Ford will unveil the eagerly awaited new Ford Focus at the forthcoming Paris Motor Show, ahead of its arrival in the UK in the spring of next year. Production of the new Ford Focus is already geared up for five-door and estate derivatives, plus Ford has announced there will be an exciting high-performance model as well.

Ford is also launching their new C-MAX this autumn, which was first seen at the Geneva Motor Show and this model will be available in five or seven-seat body styles.  Ford of Britain managing director, Nigel Sharp, will be on hand at the Paris Motor Show for interview. Ford has high hopes that the new Ford Focus will retain its top spot as the UK’s best seller which is currently held by the new Ford Fiesta.

Chevrolet launches their new Orlando 7-seater MPV

Chevrolet is launching a new seater MPV at the forthcoming Paris Motor Show as its first entrant into the European MPV segment. The Chevrolet Orlando will be on sale at the start of 2011 and is based on the award-winning Chevrolet Cruze saloon. There will be a choice of three fuel efficient engines, with one 1.8-litre petrol (141 hp) and two 2.0-litre diesel units, offering 131 or 163 hp.

The low swept roofline is also complimented by muscular, protruding wheel arches with either 16-inch, 17-inch or 18-inch wheel options.  Inside the car the takes its cues from the Corvette, with its dual cockpit and ambient blue backlighting to the centre console. There are three rows of seats, loads of storage solutions and a generous load area and Chevrolet is confident this new model should be appeal to family motorists. Standard equipment on all models includes electronic stability control, six airbags, air conditioning and electrically heated and adjustable door mirrors.

Wayne Brannon, president and managing director for Chevrolet Europe said,”The new Orlando MPV kicks off an ambitious seven-product launch program over the next 15 months. We’re confident the Orlando not only brings great value for money to the MPV class but also something fresh – function with attitude if you like – and the opportunity for us to continue building our volume across Europe”.

The upgraded Mazda2 to premiere at Paris Motor Show

Mazda will premiere the updated Mazda2 at this years Paris Motor Show plus two other updated models, the all-new Mazda5 people carrier and a new diesel engine for the Mazda3. The Mazda2 was voted World car of the Year in 2008 and gets a new front styling with Mazda’s unique family face, upgraded interior, chassis, Euro V compliant powertrain line-up and an automatic transmission is also introduced.

The all-new Mazda5 C-MAV seven seater people carrier gets the new, more economical,  MZ-CD 1.6 115PS diesel engine which reduces CO2 emissions by 15%, when compared to the 2.0-litre diesel. There is also an eye-catching design, new lightweight 6-speed transmission and enhanced Karakuri interior flexibility, plus sliding rear doors. The Mazda3 also gets the new MZ-CD 1.6 diesel engine offering 6PS more maximum power, 117g/km CO2 emissions and the 6-speed manual transmission as well. The proportions of this great looking car remain as spectacular as ever since its original launch in 2003, with its long bonnet and dynamic roof sweeping back at an angle towards the rear.

What you immediately notice about the model is the innovative front design that takes its cue from the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and new features include full LED headlamps, divided into three layers. The interior options offer a choice of five interior colours and five trim designs with three different leather qualities. Your three interior wood choices are, high-gloss brown burr walnut, high-gloss black ash and satin-finish light-brown poplar. More details on the car will be released closer to the show.

Kia Motors is set to unveil its all-new electric concept car at the forthcoming Paris Motor Show on the 30th September. The Paris Motor Show will run from the 30th September until the 17th October and will showcase the latest in challenging designs and latest models.

The Kia all-new electric concept car is called the Kia POP and boasts zero emissions (whilst in use), is only three metres long, has a three-seat layout and adds innovative chic to the city car segment. Further details will be released closer to the show.
