Infiniti M35h hybrid races from 0-62mph in only 5.5 seconds

Infiniti M35h hybrid

Infiniti, the luxury Japanese car manufacturer, has confirmed the performance details and emissions for their first hybrid car, the Infiniti M35h. The figures confirm that this is one of the fastest and greenest V6-powered cars available, with four key figures as per below;

  1. It generates 364PS (268kW) combined petrol/electric power.
  2. The car reaches 0-62mph in only 5.5 seconds.
  3. It emits 162g/km of CO2
  4. The Infiniti M35h returns 40.4 on the combined mpg cycle.

The car is capable of driving on emissions free electric power alone, at speeds of up to 80km/h (approx 50mph) and on “silent running”, the car also operates its Approaching Vehicle Sound for Pedestrians (VSP) system which emits a pleasing, non-intrusive sound to warn pedestrians of the oncoming vehicle. This safety feature is standard and the Infiniti M35h is the first hybrid car to offer this.

The Infiniti’s petrol engine is a 3.5-litre V6 with 306PS on offer and the car also comes with innovative Hybrid Electric Power Steering (NH-EPS) and regenerative brakes to further boost its efficiency. Full pricing of the new models (GT and Premium) will be released before the unveiling at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show. Infiniti business contract hire leasing is also available on the rest of the range now.
