Tuesday, June 8th, 2010SEAT is launching their new green SEAT Leon Ecomotive this week and has already sold 500 cars to British Gas, which is their largest ever fleet deal. The new super-frugal Leon Ecomotive boasts a combined fuel economy figure of 74.3mpg giving the car a range of about 900 miles between fill-ups. The Leon is also showcased this week with the new Altea Ecomotive and Altea XL Ecomotive. Both these models have the same powertrain as the Leon but without the same aerodynamic adjustments, return 62.8mpg on the combined fuel cycle and emit 119g/km of CO2.
All three cars are available in either S or SE specifications and feature a wide range of standard specifications including air-conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels, ESP, ABS, Hill Hold Control plus much more. SEAT contract hire pricing for these new models will be updated shortly.
