Skoda facelift

Skoda Auto has now released the pricing for the improved Fabia and Roomster models. The new look is evident in the new redesigned radiator grille and 3-D shaped headlamps which give both cars a new dynamic look.

Both cars benefit from a new range of engines which include four petrol units and two diesel units ranging from 60bhp to 105bhp. Both the Fabia and Roomster will be available on S, SE and Scout vehicle specifications while the Fabia line-up also gets an Elegance trim level as well. Skoda Superb Estate

The new Skoda Superb Estate has now gone on sale across the UK and is set to become the most luxurious and most practical car that Skoda offers, within its range of models.

The Skoda Superb has an impressive load capacity of 633 litres with the rear seats in place and a massive 1,865 litre when the rear seats are folded, offering the biggest load capacity in its class. In addition all Skoda Estates are fitted with roof rails as standard as well in case the boot capacity isn’t big enough for you.

The new Superb Estate comes in three trim levels S, SE and Elegance models with three petrol and three diesel engines plus a choice of manual or twin-clutch DSG gearboxes linked to either front of four-wheel drive. Skoda contract hire prices are avalable now.

Skoda 2010 Fabia facelift

Skoda has updated both the Fabia and Roomster model ranges with both being unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. The new look is most evident at the front with a redesigned radiator grille and 3D-shaped headlamps giving both cars a more dynamic look and road presence.

The Fabia, Fabia Estate and Roomster have also had some technological changes with new state-of-the-art-engines. Four petrol and two diesel engines (all Euro 5 compliant) will be available in the UK, with power outputs ranging from 60bhp to 105bhp in the Fabia and from 70bhp to 105bhp in the Roomster.

The 1.2 new TSI 105bhp petrol engine is bound to be popular when combined with the optimised, two clutch seven-speed DSG transmission, as it delivers 53.3 combined mpg. This engine is also available in manual transmission with the 105bhp engine or 85bhp. Both 1.6-litre diesel engines offer sub 110g/km CO2 as well. Skoda contract hire prices on the new models will be loaded shortly.

The Fabia supermini continues to be the most popular model with the Octavia following closely behind. Across the globe, Skoda has also reported strong growth with worldwide sales totalling 55,460 in November, a 26% increase over the same period in 2008.
