Suzuki Alto celebrates 30th birthday

Suzuki has introduced a seventh generation Alto city car this month. The Alto, which was originally launched in Japan in 1979 was a huge success and was exported to Europe in 1981.

This economical “A segment” compact car emits only 103 g/km of CO2 and has a combined mpg of 64.2 and offers fun, style and exceptional value for money.

David Seward, Director of Sales and Marketing, Suzuki GB, explains ” The economic case for the Alto remains just as valid as it did 30 years ago. Motorists are still looking for a car which will make their money go further and a vehicle to enjoy without the worry of stretching their finances or leaving a larger carbon footprint behind”.
