Fiat has launched a new Punto Evo with a new bold look inside and out. It also incorporates many safety features including knee airbags, double seat pre-tensioners and ESP with hill holder.

Every model in the range is fitted with Blue&Me allowing control of all the car’s major functions plus all models (excluding Active) can be specified with the Blue&Me TomTom system. The Punto Evo offers a range of five Euro 5 engines with Start&Stop as standard and there are also five trim levels to choose from.

The entry level Active model features front driver, passenger and driver’s knee airbag, five standard-setas, two rear head restraints, front electric windows, adjustable steering wheel, electric mirrors and Blue&Me infotainment. There are 22 versions of this new Punto Evo range to choose from and full vehicle specifications should be available shortly.

MINI adds new Countryman model to their range

MINI is adding a fourth model to the MINI range with the launch of the new MINI Countryman. The MINI Countryman is a genuine Crossover vehicle bridging the gap between the classic concept of the MINI and a modern sports activity vehicle.

This will be the first MINI model with four doors and and wide opening rear lid, offering you a versatile vehicle with even greater space. There will also be an optional ALL4 all-wheel-drive model as well. Final UK vehicle specifications have yet to be released however it is likely that the new car will be offered in three petrol engines and two diesel versions with air-conditioning as standard across the range.

Volvo is launching a new Volvo C70 coupe/convertible at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The original car was launched in early 2006 and broke new ground at the time, as the world’s first four seater with a retractable hard top.

The new car has been updated with a fresh new design both inside and out and retains the three piece retractable roof which opens in just 30 seconds.

The nose of the new car has a more distinct wedge shape with new pronounced headlamps and updated fog lights adding to the inviting “V” shape. From the rear the high-tech LED lamps, as found on the XC60, are now added.

Inside the car has a more luxurious feel with new, softer leather upholstery and a re-designed instrument panel. Four engines will be available when launched and the following data is provisional and shows information for manual versions only, with the fuel data for combined mpg consumption. The first cars are expected to be in showrooms in early 2010 with full prices and vehicle specifications released later to this date.

You want a new Ford Transit van but you want something different, so you can stand out from the crowd. Well Ford has launched a limited edition of the Ford Transit SportVan- available in “Frozen White” with wide performance blue bonnet stripes, 18-inch alloy wheels, twin exhausts pipes and spoilers.

The model is based on the popular 260 short wheelbase Transit with front wheel drive and the economic 2.2-litre TDCi diesel engine, with six-speed transmission. Inside the van, standard features include air-conditioning, six CD-player with remote steering column controls, cruise control, power windows, leather steering wheel, tinted glass, leather gearshift, front fog lights, and a perimeter alarm to name just a few.

Other colours are Panther Black with silver stripes and Sea Grey with silver stripes. Ford Transit Vehicle Specifications plus all other light commercial vans are available off the site.
