The new Jaguar 2012 MY (Model Year) has just gone on sale and promises the fastest and most efficient production Jaguars ever created. The new XF 2.2  is diesel is bound to be popular with company car drivers with CO2 emissions at 149g/km, a 0-62mph time of 8.5 seconds, top speed of 142mph and a combined mpg of 52.3.

The improvements to the Jaguar MY12 include extensive panel changes to the XF including the bonnet, front and rear lights and bumpers, front wings, plus improvements to the interior switchgear, navigation system and seats. The XK range also sees a number of changes including a new, larger front grille framed by a set of new headlight units, new front wing vents, new wheel designs and changes to the rear lights. You can also get bucket seats on the XK range for the first time as well.

The XJ model has a few revisions as well, more subtle than radical, with a rear-seat comfort option pack introduced featuring reclining seats, four-way adjustment for the lower back, a massage feature, footrest and winged headrests. Jaguar car leasing on the new range will be loaded shortly.

Jaguar C-X16 concept

The Jaguar C-X16 concept is set to make its global debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show on September the 13th and Jaguar has released a teaser image of this exciting new sports car.  The Jaguar C-X16 has been designed by the same team that produced the Jaguar XJ, XF and XK and is headed up by Jaguar Director of Design, Ian Callum.

The C-X16 sets the benchmark for future Jaguar production sports cars and it aims to set new benchmarks in design, vehicle dynamics and technology. England Cricket team

Jaguar has been the Official Vehicle supplier of the England Cricket team since last year with their partnership seeing England’s cricketers drive superb cars like the Jaguar XJ, XK or XF models. So it comes as no surprise to see them send their congratulations to the England Cricket team after their emphatic win over India in the recent npower Test series, confirming their world number one status in the ICC rankings.

Jaguar & The Jockey Club

Jaguar has become the Official Partner of The Jockey Club which will see Jaguar showcasing its range of luxury cars and providing VIP transport at The Jockey Club’s racecourses at Aintree, Epsom Downs and Newmarket. The Jockey Club will now encourage race goers to get close up to the XF, XJ and XK.

Jaguar XJ

The all-new 2011 Jaguar XJ has just been named as the 2011 International Luxury Car of the Year by the ICOTY jury, which is made up of 12 nationally- renowned automotive journalists. The new Jaguar XJ was chosen for its unique design and stellar performance and since its launch, this luxury flagship has been well received by customers and journalists alike.

The ICOTY awards were launched in 1997 and the jury is made up of journalists from respected publications like MSN Autos, Consumer Guide Automotive, Auto Week and Road and Travel Magazine. Available free in iTunes, Jaguar has launched two new iConfigurator apps to showcase the full Jaguar range of luxury cars to both UK and US market specification. The app also allows you to share the configuration on Twitter and Facebook and shows of the XJ, XK and XF models.
